June 15, 2017: ANNOUNCEMENT: Range of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due July 6
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), and Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Qualifications are due by 12PM (noon) EPT on Thursday, July 6, 2017.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 35,000 and 50,000 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2016 and May 31, 2017.
Our qualification process is online. To buy SRECs in the July 2017 SREC Auction, an interested party must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. The Auction Manager has sent instructions to all returning bidders.
New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
The SREC Auction Manual, the Master Solar Renewable Energy Certificates Agreement, and the Addendum to the SREC Auction Manual have been posted to the website. Please visit the Documents page to access these documents.
