The four New Jersey Electric Distribution Companies (EDCs) - Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G), Atlantic City Electric Company (ACE), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (JCP&L), and Rockland Electric Company (RECO) will hold Auctions to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) from their solar programs. Additionally, PSE&G may also sell Class I Renewable Energy Certificates (Class I RECs) through these same Auctions. The Auctions will be open to all market participants, including traders, aggregators, as well as BGS Suppliers and third party suppliers that have an obligation to acquire SRECs and Class I RECs for purposes of satisfying requirements such as those of the New Jersey Renewable Portfolio Standards.
