February 10, 2023: ANNOUNCEMENT: Ranges of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due March 10
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Qualification forms are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Friday, March 10, 2023.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 900 and 1,400 2022 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022 and between 46,000 and 69,000 2023 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2022 and February 28, 2023.
Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. Interested parties must qualify by submitting the online qualification form: https://njsrec-application.com/. The Auction Manager will send returning bidders a reminder of their login information. New bidders must request an account to access the online qualification form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
The SREC Auction Manual, the Master Solar Renewable Energy Certificates Agreement, and the Addendum to the SREC Auction Manual have been posted to the website. Please visit the Documents page to access these documents.
