September 11, 2020: ANNOUNCEMENT: Ranges of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due September 29
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Qualifications are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 3,500 and 5,300 2020 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020, and between 96,000 and 143,000 2021 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2020 and September 30, 2020.
Interested parties must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders. New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
